Diary entry

In l/l writing we read the story there will come soft rains, we had to make a diary entry as if we survived to the nuclear explosion that killed all the people living in the city of Allendale, California.

3 of August 2026:

Yesterday a nuclear bomb exploded in the city were I live. Today I woke up and all the city was destroyed. My house was the only one standing. I’m very scared because I’m alone. The house prepared lunch. It was horrible to have lunch alone. I wanted to know if my friend had survived, so I decided to take the phone but it did not work. Then I went out and went to look for him but when I arrived, he was dead. When I was having lunch I heard some steps, I was very scared, but it was my dog!. Now I was really happy. He was very hurt. It was a cold night, that’s why I decided to sleep near the incinerator.

4 of August 2026:

Today I had breakfast with my dog, then we played with a red ball which we always play. He was was so hurt that he fall on the floor and he couldn’t stand up. Five minutes later he was dead. Mice took him to the incinerator and burned him. I cried all day. When I was finishing lunch a big tree fell and destroyed the kitchen. Then a big fire started in the house, I rapidly went out and I decided to abandon the city.

Teorías evolutivas

En biología estuvimos viendo las teorías de Lamarck, de Darwin, la Neodarwinisma y la de Cuvier. La teoría de Lamarck es la teoría del uso y del desuso. La teoría de Cuvier es la creacionista. La teoría de Darwin es la selección natural , Darwin había tomado ideas de Lamarck y de Cuvier y creó nuevas ideas. La teoría de  Lamarck es de que si un órgano se usaba se desarrollaba y si no se atrofia. Un ejemplo es el de las jirafas en el que se explica porque las jirafas habían desarrollado su cuello para poder alimentarse. En la selección natural en la que debido a algunos rasgos ellos logran sobrevivir en su ambiente.
